How to Dry Out and Save Wet Cell Phone

As we know, the use of mobile phone has become quite necessary in our modern life. “You want to see an angry person? Let me hear a cell phone go off” is rightly said by Chris Pratt.  Mobile phone is the most needed device of our life without this life seems the clock running by weak battery.

We keep our mobile phone save all the time, however unintentionally we dropped cell phone in water and some time in sink while washing face. Some time we forgot to take out our mobile phone before going for swimming, Most of the time, I got my mobile wet in rainy seasons, and I think most of us had deal with these kinds of troubles. Getting your cell phone wet generally means you have to replace it, but don’t worry now you are able to save the phone.

Here are the few steps to fix wet phone
 
    1.    Don’t on wet phone if it is switch off, for at least 24 hours. If your phone is on then make it switch  off immediately as it may have short circuit.

    2.    Quickly remove its battery and Sim, use some paper towel or soft cloths to clean it don’t use any tough material.

    3.    It should not be connected to charger until it becomes fully dry, remove all the accessories such as memory cards, phone cases or protective covers.

    4.    Use a vacuum cleaner; it will suck all the internal water reached into the circuits of mobile phone leave it for 15 to 20 minutes. Vacuum clean should not be too close to the phone, as a vacuum create static electricity, which also not good for the phone. Don’t use blower.

    5.    If your mobile phone is extremely wet the place your mobile phone into the airtight container of rice, the rice observes all its moisture. It is the most excellent technique to make your phone dry. You can use Desiccants in the place of rice if it is easily available. Rotate your phone after every two hours to make it dry form every side.

    6.    Now take out your phone from the container and keep it on some towel or paper the will observe the rest moisture.

    7.    Now it’s time to check out your phone, see if it’s all the parts are looking dry or not. Power on the phone and check whether it’s all functions are working; check its sound too.

    8.    If all this is not working, then place the phone in sun taking out its outer body, if only, you are professional enough to assembled back. It is rightly said that, prevention is better than cure, it is good to prevent your phone.  Switch off your phone before step out in the rain. It will avoid short circuits in phone. Use water proof cases for your phone.
