How to Cook Mexican Rice

Are you bored with your daily food? Don’t worry we have something for you that will be surely liked by you and will make you familiar with Mexican exotic taste. Here we have the recipe of Mexican rice for you.

Ingredients

Mexican Rice1.    3 to 4 cup rice.
2.    Onion to be chopped
3.    Garlic (few flakes)
4.    Sliced Onion
5.    Cloves
6.    Cabbage (Shredded)
7.    Capsicum (sliced)
8.    Two tomato ( Chopped)
9.    Two Table Spoon Soya Sauce
10.  1 Table Spoon chili Powder
11.  1 Table Spoon ghee or some cooking oil
12.   Salt, According to taste

Method to prepare Mexican Rice

1.    First of all take a pan and pour cooking oil, fry chopped onion until turned into the brown.
        Add crushed garlic and let it fry for two minutes.
2.    Add rice that is already soaked for half hour pour water almost double of rice amount for example; if you are cooking two cup rice then you needs to add four cup water. Add salt according to taste.
3.    Fry the rice for two minutes.
4.    Take another vessel to heat oil and fry sliced onion in until color changes to brown.
5.    Remove onion, now fry cabbage with same heat for 1 to two minutes.
6.    Again remove cabbage and fry capsicum for minutes.
7.    Add soya sauce in capsicum with chopped tomato, salt and chili powder.
8.    Add the fried onions, cabbage, and fried rice.
9.    Mix well all the ingredients.
10.    Serve Hot.


The dish can be served as 5 pm snacks too. Hope you will like it.
